Undeath created one of the best modern death metal albums two years ago, and More Insane is more of the same. They’re shaping up to be as consistent as Dying Fetus and Skeletal Remains. These bands have roots in the old school, but they’re consistently driven to improve and change things up. Just good, fun, hooky death metal. Undeath doesn’t miss and is carrying on the violent Corpse legacy to a new generation.
It’s easy to be distracted by the lovely cover art, but Undeath have risen from the grave (again) to deliver up some disgusting puke bucket-vocals with an impressive low-end and some amazingly knotty riffs and head-spinning percussion. If you like your DM grimy and Corpse-y, this is your stop.
