Nataly’s Corner presents the music of British soul jazz guitarist Chris Standring with music from his newest compilation titled “Sunlight”. Chris is an extraordinary contemporary jazz guitarist and traditionally known for blending various Latin and R&B rhythms and instrumental strings to his style of music. With the addition of Sunlight, Chris Standring’s discography includes a total of 12 successful albums. He began releasing music under his own record label, Ultimate Vibe Recordings, in 2008. The Sunlight album is packed with 11 tracks that will fulfill the appetite of Chris’ listeners who expect the same quality that they’re accustomed to hearing from him.
It offers a variety of top-sitting grooves from the jazzy “Love Street” …to the funky beats of “Aphrodisiac”…to the soul jazz vibes of “No Explanation”…to the soft & mellow grooves of “The Revisit” …rounding out with the jazz ballad of “God Only Knows” [my favorite]. Always on top of his game, Chris cut no corners ensuring that Sunlight would be appeasing by bringing in some heavy hitters to collaborate with him.
