Pushing the stylistic envelope to fresh uncharted territory, his work Blue Bolero spawned a single („Bossa Blue”) which became the #1 Billboard Contemporary Jazz Track of the Year. Standring’s recent string of Billboard #1s in cludes Ultimate Vibe Recordings include „Oliver’s Twist”, „Sneakin’ Out the Front Door” and „Like This, Like That”.
In 2020 Standring delivers Real Life, tracked at Korakia recording studio Sherman Oaks, California between March and October 2019, except Mitch Forman’s piano recorded at The Lazy Bagel, Northridge, California, engineered by Mitch Forman; Vanessa Haynes’ vocal recorded at Outside Studio, Perivale, London, engineered by Matt Cooper; Additional vocal recorded at Northpond recording studio, London, engineered by Mo Foster and organized by Paul Carmichael; Arranged and produced by Chris Standring. Mastered by Bernie Becker at Becker Mastering, Pasadena, California.
