Mexican American jazz pianist & neuroscientist. Pianist for La Lucha. New solo piano album, „The Sundering”, available on Arbors Records on January 14, 2022! His debut solo record is called CRISPR, which is a collection of original works for piano in a variety of genres. It was born of John’s desire to combine his passions, music and science, and to bring his community closer to the scientific world. John draws inspiration from neuroscience and genetics to compose all original music for the piano and Fender Rhodes.
