Of Feather And Bone present a crushing assault of dark hardcore, backed by guitar flourishes, pissed lyrics, and an unforgiving intensity. EMBRACE THE WRETCHED FLESH, the band’s debut LP, features ten songs of crust influenced hardcore in roughly 20 minutes. They play a style of beefed-up, grindy hardcore that has its roots in 1990s bands like His Hero Is Gone, was perfected by Cursed during the 2000s.
Of Feather and Bone is a fresh new representative of a Denver scene that also includes Primitive Man and Call of the Void. As witnessed on „Ordained In Fire” the band rips forward, rabid and seething, caked in crust, grinding through songs like army tanks flattening fields. Swelling, churning clouds of gloom hang heavy as the band blasts out campaigns of the bleakest, most savage hardcore, in line with 1990s German crust gods Acme, or modern-day warriors Cult Leader.
