Luke Grimes is ready for his next step to country music stardom. The singer-songwriter and actor is releasing his second album „Redbird”.
For the follow-up to his self-titled debut album from 2024, Grimes has once again teamed up with Grammy winner Dave Cobb. Other contributors included songwriters Jessie Jo Dillon and Natalie Hemby.
Working primarily at the Georgia May Studio in Savannah and the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, they aimed for an organic, stripped-down sound that would bring out the best in the lyrical stories. This aesthetic is particularly evident in the melancholy „Love You Now”, which highlights Grimes’ maturation as an artist.
