After a lineup change, Four Black Lungs has found a band that does justice to its very own heartland punk. The debut album “Don’t tell me there is nothing left,” released on Noisy Plastics Records, is full of hymns to past friendships and to people you carry in your heart. The lyrics convey an irrepressible hunger for love and boundless freedom — and the unconditional will to try again and again.
Energetic and full of emotion, Four Black Lungs are often compared musically to bands such as Hot Water Music, The Menzingers, and Iron Chic. The Munich band is just at the beginning of its story, and we can all look forward to seeing where Four Black Lungs’ journey will take them.
