Hearkens back to old school psychedelia and early prog with wonderful variety without falling into inconsistency. I love the use of various combinations of instrumentation. Especially enjoyed the harmonica on „Don’t Lie To The Reaper”! Getting a Pink Floyd vibe, some really excellent playing here. Not too heavy not too light but still a varied mix of styles and tempos. „The Trial” is a successful blend of Rush, Zeppelin and Jethro Tull slapping together epic bass lines, progressive twists, dynamic groove and jazzy interludes to create a fresh sense of nostalgia. This is incredibly diverse and intriguing all the same. Gets better as it plays on.
