Crossbones were formed in 1996. Rehearsals took place in the basement of a friend’s house. After enough practice, the band subsequently began to tour. The first members of Crossbones were Olsi Ballta and Arbi Xhelo; then Klodi Shehu and Alban Male joined the band. Up until 1998, Crossbones had to rely on session bass players. At this time, however, Fatjon Gjashta joined the band as a bass player.
