Lee Wrathe is an Ibanez and Laney endorsed guitarist, demonstrating not only his virtuosity but also his incredible compositional technique on this, his debut album. The Music on this record represents a number of Spiritual, emotional and physical journeys. I began writing this material whilst in a very dark emotional place and gradually (as time passed by and the Music took flight) I began to rise out of that hole and open my eyes…hence the title. Music is a great healer, both as a listener and also as a means of escapism for the writer and performer. My Music has taken me on many journeys and I hope that this record takes you, the listener, on your own journey. I wrote it with you in mind.
