Weather Report was one of the most artistically important and commercially successful jazz and fusion bands of the 1970s and 1980s, which many musicians of different styles still follow today. The band was led by keyboardist Joe Zawinul, the saxophonist Wayne Shorter and bassist Miroslav Vitous. The CD „1983” was recorded live in the same year and contains all the hits.
