Formed on an ancient rural Norweigian farm, established in the Studio 1184. Vreid is the musical mission created by Ulcus and Windir in 2004. Previously nominated for a Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy), released 6 albums and played over 500 shows in 25 countries. Their last album Welcome, Farewell got great reviews and landed on top 10 of the year lists. „Solverv” is an epic milestone for the tyrannical brigade of Vreid! Cold dissonance and feverish melodies embellish this opus, recorded at studio 1184, in 2014.
Indie Recordings are thrilled to re-release all of VREID’s back-catalogue on white vinyl in a special series called «All Colours Gone». More or less all Vreid’s albums are sold out on vinyl, and some of them have been for years, making this release even more special. Each release has newly designed cover artwork, created by Remi Juliebø of Deformat.
