Channeling the raw energy of basement shows; the sweat, the blown-out amps, the coldwave throb that sticks to your ribs. For Synth Redux Vol. 1, I dragged these Rats songs into a dimly lit room full of analog synths, drum machines, and frayed cables, then rewired them until they spat sparks. Picture your favorite Rats tracks fed through a broken PA at 3AM, drenched in overdrive and nihilism. Drum machines pound like a panic attack. Synths hiss like a flickering neon sign. This is what happens when punk slams into a Roland TR-808 and nobody cleans up the blood. This isn’t a remix. It’s a rebirth—a stolen broadcast from another era.
