The bands debut album released in 1971 was produced by Nick Taber in Dublin – it was originally released on the Decca label. This vinyl reissue is on 180gm vinyl (with download code) with replica artwork. On this album, Thin Lizzy have put everything into the music and taken risks. It is passionate, full of energy and unmistakable. The debut album „Thin Lizzy” by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy was released on April 30, 1971, followed in August of the same year by the EP „New Day”, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios. This deluxe LP release for the 55th anniversary of Thin Lizzy’s debut album contains rarities, BBC sessions and previously unreleased music. Richard Whittaker has created a new stereo mix of the album, which is also included in this edition. The 4LP deluxe set contains 15 unreleased tracks, including the previously unreleased studio track „Beggar’s Song”. The track list also includes the rare „New Day EP” alongside other rarities and BBC sessions.
