STUD were formed in 1970 by RICHARD McCRACKEN and JOHN WILSON (from the recently disbanded band TASTE who featured RORY GALLAGHER) and JIM CREGAN (of BLOSSOM TOES and later in FAMILY). The album they recorded for Decca’s DERAM label was an amalgam of rock and jazz and was an outstanding „progressive” album of its time. The sessions also featured guest appearances by POLI PALMER (of FAMILY) and JOHN WEIDER (ex-ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS and FAMILY).
Very rarely seen this UK Prog Rock LP released on Deram (SML R 1084) in 1971 by „Stud”. Here it is in all it’s glory Front laminated sleeve with white matt finish rear on the Red & White Deram label, a Near Mint Copy went for 360 British Pounds in 2011 so well worth looking out for this one, musically it sounds very American in style.
