Following his much acclaimed US-Canada Tour and performances at the Glastonbury 2005 and Glade Festivals, Solar Fields aka Magnus Birgersson returns with a new ambient opus.
Poles apart from the current trends, ‘Leaving Home’ expands his world of sounds, pushing back the frontiers of floating electronica, traditional instrumentation and chill. Both stimulating and disconcerting, this third album confirms ‘Solar Fields’ talent as high-tech sound designer and multi-instrumentalist (synthetizers, veena, sitar, guitar, percussions, …), evolving constantly through 11 mobile and intangible spaces.
