This album was never part of the plan. Kira Skov had been busy with other projects and was looking forward to a well-deserved break from
releasing albums. The real plan was to immerse herself in a book project. Kira took a break from touring and spent some time alone in the countryside to allow herself to dive into writing. It started as an open-ended, somewhat ambiguous idea, with words about life from her perspective… words that could eventually end up being the bones of a book. But in an ironic twist, working with Danish texts and prose ended up opening a door to a new world of musical and lyrical composition, and unexpectedly gave life to the first pieces that would ultimately appear on this album.
