Scottish alternative rock legends Simple Minds are releasing an extensive acoustic rework of their greatest hits and best known songs. Simple Minds were the standard bearers for a new kind of rock music in the 1980s. The band scored a string of hit singles, and are best known internationally for their 1985 hit „Don’t You (Forget About Me)” which also featured as the soundtrack for the film The Breakfast Club.
In 2016,Simple Minds won the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection. „Simple Minds Acoustic” features all of the bands biggest hits,
recorded in a new acoustic version. The album will be available on CD and LP. The LP will be released November 25th and contains 3 bonus tracks.
