Rabid Bitch of the North are a three piece heavy metal band from Belfast Northern Ireland. They are very much inspired by traditional heavy metal bands and associate themselves with the NWOBHM and it’s descendants. The bands musical character and individuality is very important to their ethos and ultimately they aim to be themselves. They like to play fast, hard, heavy and with fury.
‘Nothing But A Bitter Taste’ is the debut album from Belfast, Northern Ireland, based heavy metal trio Rabid Bitch Of The North. Having previously released a number of demos, singles and a demo/singles compilation, ‘Nothing But A Bitter Taste’ is the first full length and encapsulates the energy of a now seasoned, fast, hard and heavy metal band inspired by genre pioneers such as Judas Priest, Iron Maiden & Motörhead. The band associate themselves with the NWOBHM, its descendants and have even paid tribute to the classic genre, bucking the trends, and creating a production reminiscent of that era. Previously released on CD, the album has now been given a new leash of life with a release on vinyl! Old school format for old school heavy metal!
