Documentary in which American rock band Professor Louie and the Crowmatix explore the history of Hurley, New York, where they have recorded much of their music.
Grammy Nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix from their Rock n Roll barn create a musical journey about the history of Americana town, Hurley, NY with interviews and untold stories by members of The Hurley Heritage Society. Cine Golden Eagle winning Director, Bruce Connors incorporated visuals and imagery about the history of this farming community from the Revolutionary War to present day.
The musically spirited songs heard throughout the Documentary were created and recorded at LRS Studios The Rock ‘n’ Roll Barn on Hurley Mountain Road and describe the history of this special place and the people they met here. Beautiful footage and historical pictures filmed in Ulster County NY with exclusive interviews by members of The Hurley Heritage Society as well as untold stories by local residents.
Hurley was and remains an agricultural community from early settlements of the American Indians, its importance during The Revolutionary War to the development of the Reservoir system supplying water to NYC and to present day innovative agriculture of The Farm Hub.
