Ugly music for ugly times – Pornscars from Berlin don’t make beautiful music – they make honest music. Between punk, hardcore and garage, they create a sound that sounds more like a loss of control than a concept. Murder Garage Punk Rock is what they call it themselves. Raw, loud and with no interest in pleasing anyone. The content is about what is bubbling under the surface: Paranoia, violence, distorted perception and the surprisingly short distance from civilized human being to aggressive mob.
„Victimless Crimes” is less a question than a statement. The record dismantles the convenient lie that there are crimes without victims – and shows how easily people bend their own reality until everything seems „okay”. Pornscars don’t provide any solutions. They hold your head under water and see how long you stay calm. 180g green marbled vinyl, 300 copies ww, hand-numbered with insert.
