A stellar in-studio radio performance from the Pixies in 1987, broadcast from the WERS studios at Emerson College in Boston on 18th January, the band perform a killer set recorded two months before the release of their first EP, Come On Pilgrim.
The songs are delivered with a crudeness and verve attributable, probably, to a band that knew they were on the verge of something. Throughout this WERS broadcast, the band sounds fresher and more energized than they ever did on record. A must listen for all Pixies fans!
