Celebrating 25 years of unforgettable surf, movie and music scenes from the remastered 16mm film „Thicker Than Water”.
Before he became known as a singer and songwriter for laid-back tracks like „Banana Pancakes” and „Sitting, Waiting, Wishing”, Johnson was a kid growing up in Hawaii with a passion for surfing. He was also interested in film and studied the field in college. in 1999, Johnson made his first documentary, „Thicker Than Water”, which featured a number of professional surfers in various exotic locations such as Hawaii, Ireland, Australia, India and Indonesia.
