After another sold-out European tour, Heather Nova is releasing her new live album „Live in Europe”. The album contains 19 tracks from various concerts on the tour, where the Bermuda-born musician played old favorites as well as many songs from her 2025 album „Breath and Air”.
The entire set is carried solely by Heather on guitar and Midori Jaeger on cello and backing vocals, with each of them taking to the piano a few times during the set. Drummer Jake Hutton can be heard on 4 songs.
However, the reduced line-up does not mean that the album has little impact or dynamics. Rather, these minimalist but creative arrangements give the songs a clarity and intensity that those familiar with Heather’s work will appreciate. The songs are brought to life in a whole new way, pure and free of any production, leaving plenty of room for her unmistakable voice. And for those new to Heather’s music, it’s a great introduction to her work.
