Recommended to the label by and on tour with Mats Gustafsson, these three French musicians utilise the unusual combination of harp, flute and percussion to create exciting music. Flute, harp, drums: a rare combination that this trio presents on its head. Taking inspiration from John Zorn‘s experiences on the border between jazz and noise, the collaboration between Delphine Joussein, Rafaëlle Rinaudo and Blanche Lafuente aims to explore their instruments with the enthusiasm of a mad scientist.
It is no coincidence that the three musicians, who are considered the missing link between Nirvana and Sun Ra, have already aroused great curiosity, received attention and are constantly touring throughout Europe. Line up: Delphine Joussein – flute, voice, percussion / Rafaelle Rinaudo – electric harp, percussion / Blanche Lafuente – percussion.
