The Carnegie concert in 1974 is reviewed as a splendid album with both, Gerry and Chet in a very good shape. The band also features John Scofield, Bob James, Ron Carter, Harvey Mason, Dave Samuels and Ed Byrne. As a band they performed superb versions of „Line For Lyons” and „My Funny Valentine”. The Carnegie Hall concert is definitely one of the best performances for Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker ever.
