Mosh-Pit Justice was spawn in the shores of Black Sea. In September 2012 the band released “The Serpent” EP, 4 tracks of uncompromising Power/Thrash metal assault. Following year Mosh-Pit Justice vomited their self titled debut on EBM records. The following “Stop Believing Lies” came out on Witches Brew Records and satisfied fans hunger for speed and melody.
Mosh Pit Justice is a Bulgarian trio from Bourgas, consisting of bassist/songwriter Mariyan Georgiev, Staffa on guitars/drums and George “Peich” on vocals. The band has been going on for only 4 years, but has wasted no time releasing an EP and two albums so far – a kickstarter campaign and some time later they are releasing their third album “Stop Believing Lies” through Witches Brew records, this year.
Surprisingly competent for a trio, which I suspect must become a quartet for live performances, since the drummer isn’t an octopus to handle guitar duties simultaneously; their style is reminiscent of old school thrash, think Forbidden, Metal Church and Heathen, more or less… with surprisingly good results. The vocals could use a bit more character and be a little more adventurous, since their singer seems capable enough (I really don’t like when he attempts some more melodic and lower parts) and at this rate by album ten, which shouldn’t take too long, given their rate of release, they might be onto something. The production is also pretty good but maybe it could be a tad more groovy, I guess, not modern just a little more pulsating. But overall, surprisingly good and solid, despite some flaws.
