One of their strongest trademarks is the powerful three-part harmonies as well as strong lead vocals sung by all band members. After several international recording projects (USA, UK, Germany) for the individual band members it was time to record this album at their home base in Finland.
Micke & Lefty are one of the most entertaining and energetic acoustic blues acts in the European blues circuit today. Their debut album „Big Bag” of 2004 is now made available again. The album is loaded with strong original songs, featuring blues from the Delta to Hawaii, including explosive bottleneck slide guitar and powerful harmony vocals. Micke & Lefty made it also to the semifinals of International Blues Challenge 2012 in Memphis, Tennessee. Bandleader and singer Micke Bjorklof is known from his band Blue Strip, which has stirred audiences around Europe both at their own shows and as opening act for names like B. B. King, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Little Feat and Solomon Burke, just to mention a few.
