Following her high-flying debut „MINT” including the hit single „No Roots” and the follow-up „S.I.D.E.S.” (2022), they have now released their third new studio album entitled „Visions”, which also contains the single „Ignorance is Bliss” and the powerful indie pop anthem „Cruel Intentions”.
The sound is a mixture of alternative pop, rock and indie, with a good balance of energetic anthems and introspective moments. The album, which was recorded in Iceland, New York, London and Los Angeles, deals with themes such as self-determination, resilience and loyalty.
„Visions” is a narrative of how Alice Merton overcame moments of doubt, refusing to take the easy way out and instead consistently making decisions that fully represent her as an artist – a path that was deliberately not always easy or comprehensible from the outside.
