„This is the album we released in 2013. As usual with me, I started writing some of these songs years ago, and some of them I wrote in the months leading up to the start of our recording sessions for this album in 2012, in our studios in North London. We thought we were making a really off-kilter, hardcore synth-punk/weird electronic record but how wrong we were! It’s probably more ‘electro-pop’ sounding than anything we ever did. There’s still loads of funny Dr Who type noises and distressing sounds to satisfy our avant-garde leanings, along with the inadvertently insidious tunes and stomping technotronical beats. And then there’s my lyrics of course, which frequently tend to beach us on the shores of the sea of acceptability, and usually serve to keep us firmly on the ignore-list of most pedallers of so-called music via the airwaves/internet and such like. Whatever. Buy it, it’ll make you drive faster, shag better, and think more dangerously. Probably.” – Roi
