Recorded at the end of a two-year world tour following the release of „Afrique Victime” (2019), it once again showcases the Nigerian quartet’s boisterous rock sound, which is even louder, faster and wilder.
Passionate political lyrics meet the desert rock of the Sahara.
The songs on „Funeral For Justice” lament the plight of Niger and the Tuareg people.
This album is really different for me,” explains Moctar, the band’s singer, namesake and guitarist.
Now the problems of terrorist violence in Africa are much more serious. When the Americans and Europeans came here, they said they would help us, but what we see is really different.
