Recorded live at italian famous „Nadir Music Studios” in Genoa, Italy by producer Tommy Talamanca (Sadist).
Marco „Ray” Mazzoli is a blues pianist, Hammond player, singer and composer. Ray interprets the blues in all his styles: traditional blues, R&B, a kind of music that Ray interprets the blues in all the styles and ways (from traditional blues, to R&B and blues with jazz influences and sound), with personal tunes and compositions and peculiar arrangements from the tradition.
„My Big Fat Blues” is his fifth personal record (the seventh where he took part, including „Greetings from the Coast”, 2018 with the Big Fat Mama, where he played piano, Hammond and performed background voices, „In Blues”, 2016, with Sabrina Colombo and the Louisiana Blues Trio, one of the bands where Marco „Ray” Mazzoli plays piano, keyboards and sings) and goes on with his collaboration, now permanent, with the Big Fat Mama, begun with the record „Greetings from the Coast”, released just before „My Big Fat Blues” where Ray’s music and arrangements closely recalls the very sound of the blues.
