LA-based Magic Wands has continuously defied genre since the groups inception in 2008. On the new album, Cascades, The duo of Chris and Dexy Valentine have expanded their unique, often dreamy but undefinable sound – incorporating elements of gothic post punk, dark dream pop, textured guitars, droning synths, and ethereal vocals to create an otherworldly atmosphere.
