The Love Light Orchestra, a 10-piece super group of seasoned Memphis musicians, was formed in 2016 to rekindle enthusiasm for the grand, orchestral sound of mid-20th century blues. „Leave the Light On”, the group’s sophomore effort and debut studio recording, contains original tunes and one choice cover and reinforces a future outlook while simultaneously honoring the context of its musical past. Following their acclaimed 2017 live album, the Love Light Orchestra returns with their sizzling studio debut! The Memphis big band blues sound shines in this collection of nine originals and one radically reworked cover.
