Dory Previn (born Dorothy Veronica Langan; October 22, 1925 – February 14, 2012) was an American lyricist, singer-songwriter and poet.
This is Croydon Municipal’s second release, following the acclaimed Songs For a Central Park Picnic, which was Classic Pop’s reissue of the month in August.
Exemplary backing from jazz heroes Bill Evans and Kenny Burrell. A sassy pop/jazz album, much in demand from Japanese collectors.
The sleeve notes have been written by Bob Stanley, whose Yeah Yeah Yeah: The Story of Modern Pop has been described as „music book of the year” by the Times and the New Statesman.
