Kawakawa is the alter-ego of London based multi-instrumentalist Sam Taylor. A late blooming side-project, it initially started as just a set of demos recorded at home that were gradually fleshed out into a full album called „Island Species”. An off-kilter coming together of all his influences, the album presents Kawakawa’s very own brand of dreamy folk pop.
