The release of the debut album „Eigene Helden” (2017) directly provided the first attention sign and unanimously unites fans and critics of major German punk bands of the 90s.
HERZBLUT have their very own style, which is distinctive and memorable and does not shy away from tackling topics that are often very serious and sometimes ironic and cynical, since each individual band member has to tell his life story, which is reflected in the songs. Stalking, racism, lovesickness, everyday madness but also don’t forget the happy parts of life.
HERZBLUT‘s influences go back to the old heroes of the German punk scene. Names like WIZO, Dritte
Wahl, Die Ärzte or Die Toten Hosen come to mind.
