Anjunadeep 16 arrives this spring, mixed by label co-founder James Grant and long-time collaborator Jody Wisternoff. Anjunadeep is the renowned UK label responsible for breaking acts like Lane 8, Dusky, Yotto, Ben Böhmer and Eli & Fur. Ever since the inaugural Anjunadeep 01 in 2009, the compilation series has set the tone for the subsequent year’s sound, and has been a launchpad for the next generation of electronic artists. This year, the mixed compilation will be released on CD, and for the first time we present a limited edition 2×12” vinyl sampler, featuring 12 tracks (in extended mix form) across two blue-black marble coloured vinyl.
Anjunadeep 16 sees James and Jody curate a diverse array of melodic offerings across two expertly crafted mixes, spanning the Anjunadeep, Anjunachill and Explorations roster. Longtime label favourites Cubicolor, Dosem, Marsh and Spencer Brown sit alongside rising artists Durante, Ezequiel Arias, Because Of Art and Amtrac. As always, the compilation provides a platform to welcome new voices to the label, with debut appearances from Kloyd, obli, Martin Rola & David Mackay, and Kiskadee.
