North Dakota Death Metal technicians are back with an even darker and more extreme follow-up to their stunning debut, Pathogenic Automation, entitled Sentience Revoked! Gorgatron, have been turning a lot of heads in the last few years, but these maniacs have been creating crushing death metal since they independently released their debut album, Torturtorium, back in 2010. After some line-up changes, the band self-released sophomore album, Inner Supremacy, in 2015, but it wasn’t until the lead up for their 2020 breakout album, Pathogenic Automation, that they began to tour relentlessly, booking DIY runs all around the Midwest.
Gorgatron have shared the stage and supported many notable bands, including: Anthrax, Testament, The Black Dahlia Murder, Goatwhore, Skeleton Witch, Anal Cunt, Malevolent Creation, Carcass, Burjeria, Jungle Rot, Misery Index, Hate, Defeated Sanity, Anal Blast, Origin, Pathology, Pyrexia, Phobophilic, Maul, Machine Head, Vital Remains, Havok, Weedeater, Devourment, Eat The Turnbuckle, Beyond Creation, Mortician, Gorgasm, Visceral Disgorge, Jucifer, Unmerciful, and many more… They have also appeared at: Obscene Extreme, Czech Metal Gate, Loud As Hell Fest, Toledo Death Fest, Midwest Death Fest, Las Vegas Death Fest 8, Philadelphia Infest 3, Manitoba Metal Fest 2019, Slam Dakota Metal Fest, Topeka Metal Fest and Spring Bash Milwaukee.
