Ramon Goose (born 1977) is an English blues guitarist, singer and producer, who is known for his work with The West African Blues Project and the hip hop blues band NuBlues, his mastery of the slide guitar, and for producing other American blues artists’ albums. As a solo artist he has toured across Europe and released several albums. „Uptown Blues” is the debut solo album by Ramon Goose, which sees him delving further into his love of blues and blues-rock. „Uptown Blues is filled with colorful dynamic and variation. Among all of Ramon’s talents, the one that shines the most is his guitar playing. The song „Testify” is an instrumental blues that starts out with a high-energy guitar riff and leads into a guitar solo. The entire song is about Ramon’s guitar playing and it is really outstanding. Throughout entire song, the guitar wails and even though there are no vocals, the guitar speaks for itself.”
