Alarm is the second full-length album by Giant Day, featuring Derek Almstead (Circulatory System, The Olivia Tremor Control, The Glands, Elf Power, of Montreal) and Emily Growden (Marshmallow Coast, Faster Circuits). Bringing together their pop and psychedelic influences from years in the vibrant Athens, Georgia music scene, Giant Day offers a sound that is rich, poppy, danceable, and dark. The album weaves through synthpop, shoegaze, indie electronic, and progressive rock influences.
