The Austria singer’s third album features the international hit ‘Rock Me Amadeus’ which was number one virtually everywhere – including the UK and USA – as well as ‘Vienna Calling’ and ‘Jeanny’ which also did very well. There was two versions of Falco 3, the original European version released in 1985 and the ‘International’ version issued in UK, USA and Japan and a few other countries. The latter replaced the standard album versions of ‘Rock Me Amadeus’ and Vienna Calling with 12-inch versions (the ‘Salieri Version’ and ‘Metternich Arrival Mix’, respectively) and uses a photo of Falco on the front cover, rather than the red ‘autograph’ version. Audio has been remastered and there’s new sleeve notes by Michael Rager.
To mark the 40th anniversary of „Falco 3”, the legendary album is being remastered and released in various configurations. Falco released his third studio album in 1985, which became his greatest success with the international hits „Rock Me Amadeus”, „Vienna Calling” and „Jeanny”. Both the singles and the album stormed the charts worldwide. „Rock Me Amadeus” even reached #1 in the U.S. charts and is still the only German-language song to achieve this. „Vienna Calling” and the controversial ballad „Jeanny” also enjoyed great success worldwide.
The anniversary configurations contain the newly remastered „Falco 3” album and include numerous bonus contents as deluxe editions on vinyl, CD and music cassette, depending on the configuration. 10 tracks: „Falco 3” with the original international cover and tracklist (Salieri version of „Rock Me Amadeus” + Metternich Arrival Mix of „Vienna Calling”) – newly remastered – available for the first time in Europe!
