Punk Rock, Hardcore Punk, 2022-es Mix album. CD újra kiadás, 2026.
THE CLASSIC 1980 DEAD KENNEDYS’ ALBUM, REMIXED FROM THE ORIGINAL MULTI-TRACK TAPES. REMIXED BY CHRIS LORD-ALGE, GUIDED BY EAST BAY RAY AND KLAUS FLORIDE. ALSO FEATURING PREVIOUSLY UNSEEN IMAGERY, EXTENSIVE ESSAY AND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM COUNTLESS ARTISTS INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL ALBUM. A REMARKABLE SONIC REVISITATION OF THIS MASTERPIECE!
San Francisco’s Dead Kennedys arrived onto the post punk scene of the late 1970s and early 1980s with something to say and an urgent, razor sharp sound. After two early singles they delivered the classic ‘Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables’ in 1980. In the intervening decades the album has never failed to inspire and challenge anybody who came across it. This 2022 mix gives incredible new sonic clarity to those songs. With sleevenotes from Amy Linden and East Bay Ray, and contributions from Dave Grohl, Duff McKagan and many others.
„We tried one song and what Chris came back with was amazing. Everyone heard the difference, so we said, ‘All right, let’s go!’.” – East Bay Ray –
Overseen by the band, this 2022 Mix demonstrates the enduring power of this music, and the relevance of its message today. A revolutionary, must-hear experience for everybody familiar with the original!
