The band released its third studio album, ‘Tomb of the Mutilated’, in 1992. ‘Tomb of the Mutilated‘ was the album that brought Cannibal Corpse out of the underground and into the public eye as the reigning kings of Death Metal. it is also the last album with Bob Rusay at the guitar. Chris Barnes and Co put the pedal to the metal and start the LP off with the all time hit „Hammer Smashed Face”.
