Atena have pushed through to become the forefronters of norwegian metalcore as well as proving there’s more than black metal that roams in the country by extensive touring through Europe. With a deep inspiration from hip hop, classical composers and love for heavy music the band entwine these elements together with lyrics of darker episodes that occurs through life.
ATENA, the groundbreaking metalcore fourpiece hailing from Norway, is set to unleash their new album, „Subway Anthem”. Known for their experimental approach and fusion of classic metalcore with urban elements, ATENA has established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.
„Subway Anthem,” ATENA’s highly anticipated new album, is mixed and mastered by the acclaimed Swedish producer Henrik Udd, renowned for his work with bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, and Imminence, and scheduled for release on September 29th via Indie Recordings. The album promises to push the boundaries of their genre even further, captivating fans with their fearless musical exploration.
In addition to the upcoming album release, ATENA is gearing up for a thrilling fall 2023 tour, bringing their electrifying live performances to audiences around Europe. Their single „Subway Anthem” has already gained recognition, receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter, solidifying the band’s international appeal and acclaim.
