From Malmö, Sweden, Asoka released a self-titled album in 1971. The music tended towards hard rock but some tracks also suggested the sound of SANTANA. Two band members, (Claes Ericsson & Robban Larsson) later turned up with the band LOTUS. In 2004/2005 they reunited with releasing the unreleased tracks on CD with debut album and as a seperate album „Take Off”. In 2007 they released another album „36 years later”. Early Progressive Hard Prog Styles (Prog Rock).
