English neo-progressive rock band formed by Mick Pointer (founder of Marillion) and Clive Nolan (keyboard player of Pendragon). 1995 is the year it all begins. The first album of Arena was released, featuring Clive Nolan (keyboards) and Mick Pointer (drums), with Cliff Orsi (bass), Keith More (guitar) and John Carson (vocals). This excellent piece of work entitled „Songs From The Lions Cage” and released on Arena’s own ‘Verglas’ label, is very well received and a new progressive rock legend has been born.
Songs from the lion’s cage was the first release by Arena in 1995. For the first time the original release has been remastered and released on Vinyl. The double gate fold has two yellow 180g vinyl discs, full colour cardboard inner sleeves with all the original artwork and lyrics.
