GG made dangerous music and even more dangerous stage acts. He might be punk, country, or garage rock. Whatever you call his music it never had high production values or significant distribution. Like Sid Vicious, Lenny Bruce, Jim Morrison, and a host of other self-destructive performers he eventually achieved death by heroin. But there are excellent songs on this effort and his music is catchy, the lyrics shocking. This is GG’s best effort and is an important part of the history of outlaw music.
