Classical Solo Piano was Recorded Live by Carol Albert when she studied Classical piano at the University and received a Bachelor of Music Degree. The unreleased recording was recently located in storage and Mastered for Digital Release. Compositions on the recording include Bach Fantasia, Schubert Impromptu, Brahms Intermezzi, and Prokofiev Sonata in D minor. For the classical music lover, these recordings make a perfect listening backdrop.
Full disclosure here as I am not versed in classical piano . I barely know anything more than Beethoven’s 5th and the Carmen Overture. I simply adore Carol’s music as in many ways is the story of my life. This album shows the roots of why Carol is magnificent with the piano keys. I’ve been able to better understand her approach to her current music. In some cases it is thunderous, other ways it is gentle with a smooth balance. This album is gem of recovered recordings. It’s worthy of several listens from beginning to end. It grows on you, like all of Carol’s work. It’s beautiful.
