Until 2002 known as Silke Bischoff. After Axel Kretschmann quit in 2002 it came to judicial controversy about the right to use the band-name Silke Bischoff. Finally Felix Flaucher and Frank Schwer disclaimed on the name and created the band-name 18 Summers.
